Vale Mission Fellowship

July and August 2023 Open Air Services

Open Air Services will take place each Saturday evening during July & August, 7.30pm – 8.15pm, outside Boots in Town During each service there will be times of singing and two short Gospel messages. Please come and support by adding volume to the singing, and bringing encouragement by just being there. Please also pray that God would use these excellent opportunities to share the Good News of Jesus with those who wouldn’t usually come into a church to hear it.

17th January 2021 Baptisms

On Sunday 17th January, we witnessed five members of our congregation go through the waters of baptism. Being in Guernsey we do not currently have the same restrictions imposed on us as the majority of the world and saw the church hall filled with church members, family and friends of the individuals. It was a blessing also to celebrate this happy occasion with friends from other places of worship. Each participant shared their testimony, every one a blessing and most importantly every one a confession of their faith in the Lord Jesus and a desire to serve their Saviour. As a fellowship we will endeavor to support and encourage each one in their journey of faith.
Mark 16:16 - He who believes and is baptized will be saved.
Please join with us in praying for these individuals as they continue their walk with their Saviour.

14th November 2020 Prison Visitation
Football Match

Through his pastoral visits at the prison our church Pastor Steve Henry was invited to take a team of footballers into the prison for a 9-aside football match against current inmates. A team of 9 players played a good spirited and close match which after 70 minutes ended in a 1-1 draw. A penalty shootout followed and after a save from each goalkeeper it came down to the fifth and final penalty from each team. The prison goalkeeper saved the Vale Missions fifth penalty and the prison duly converted their fifth to win the game.
